Derick's Talk

At Church on Sunday, I helped out in Primary. When I got into the Primary room, I noticed that Derick was sitting in the front of the room where the kids that give talks usually sit and I thought, well, I guess he wants to sit there, though I'm sure he isn't giving a talk today. Then when they got to the part for the children's talks, they had Derick come up to give a talk. Of course he had nothing to say because I hadn't prepared him a talk, so I asked if was assigned a talk. They told me no, but that he had been sitting, waiting to give one anyway. So I went up and helped him say a few words. The kids just cracks me up. He's four years old and wants to be a part of everything. He is not shy or scared, just eager to participate.
